The 2024 NFL season is quickly coming to a close, and the 2025 NFL Playoff picture is coming into view as teams begin to separate themselves in the standings.
Several teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills, appear ready to make a deep postseason run.
Still, other Super Bowl hopefuls like the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Chargers quietly lurk in the background.
The Baltimore Ravens are also in that contender group, as their offense has been one of the most efficient in the league.
However, they recently waived Diontae Johnson, whom they traded for earlier in the year from the Carolina Panthers.
Johnson is a talented wide receiver, but his behavioral issues forced the Ravens’ hand.
With Johnson on waivers, a few teams can put in a claim, and Ian Rapoport revealed three of them via NFL Network.
“Potential destinations for Diontae Johnson include the Steelers, Chiefs, and Chargers,” Rapoport reported.

All three teams could use a boost to their wide receiver corps, though the Steelers might be the most logical destination given Johnson’s familiarity with the team.
The Chiefs recently got Marquise Brown back from injury and might not need Johnson anymore, though the Chargers could use someone opposite of Ladd McConkey to help ease his target load.
It’ll be interesting to see where Johnson ends up because he can certainly help a playoff team.
