The 2024 NFL season was supposed to be an exciting year for the Chicago Bears, who entered the new season with a revamped offensive unit featuring Caleb Williams.
Williams, the 2024 NFL Draft’s No. 1 overall pick, was widely considered the best quarterback prospect the league has seen in years because of his strong arm, quick processing speed, and ability to keep the football himself and extend plays.
However, Williams has looked every part of a rookie in the NFL as he’s struggled with decision-making and pressure from defenses up front.
As a result, Chicago’s offense has suffered, and the team is now looking at another high draft pick.
In Week 16, the Bears played the Detroit Lions, and the first half was filled with turnovers and errors.
With another rough first-half performance, fans couldn’t help but lament the team via Bussin’ With The Boys.

Life on Sunday is 10x better if you stop watching the Bears

In recent weeks, the Chicago fanbase has not had much to cheer for as the team finds ways to make life harder for itself.
Against the Lions, the Bears went three-and-out on their first drive, and on the next drive, Williams lost a fumble.
Things got worse because their third drive also ended in a fumble, with Rome Odunze losing the football after making the grab.
It was an ugly performance that encapsulates how difficult things have been for the Chicago offense.
Fans have nothing left to hope for other than a better performance in 2025.
