Fans Are Worried About Jalen Hurts After Concerning Hit On Sunday

The Philadelphia Eagles have been the hottest team in the league during the 2024 NFL season.

They’ve won 10 straight games, putting themselves in a position to finish with the best record in the NFC.

The Eagles have a shot to claim a first-round bye if they can surpass the Detroit Lions, but regardless, they appear to be the most dangerous team heading into the playoffs.

Philadelphia’s turnaround can be attributed to its defense, which has been a lockdown unit in all three areas of the field.

Jalen Hurts has also started to find his groove.

For weeks, the Eagles’ offense seemed to struggle to find its way outside Saquon Barkley but Hurts and the passing game have shown signs of life.

As a dual-threat quarterback, Hurts is also not afraid to take the football himself, though that backfired in their Week 16 matchup against the Washington Commanders.

Hurts kept the football on a 2-and-20 play, and fans were concerned when he took a hit to the head on the way down via Yahoo Sports.

“Jalen Hurts is being evaluated for a concussion and has gone to the locker room, per the Eagles.”

Hurts was quickly ruled out of the game with a concussion, the immediate fear as soon as he hit the ground.

A concussion at this time of the year is terrible timing, considering he might be forced to miss time.

With the Eagles in the hunt for the No. 1 seed, all eyes will be on Hurts’ progress throughout the week.
