LeBron James Was Excited About 1 NFL Player’s Performance On Sunday

The Philadelphia Eagles have been rolling the league the past two months as they’ve reeled off 10 consecutive wins to put themselves in position to win the NFC and claim a first-round bye in the 2025 NFL Playoffs.

The Eagles are tied with the Detroit Lions for the No. 1 seed in the NFC standings, but they will face the Washington Commanders in Week 16.

Philadelphia will win the NFC East, but the upstart Washington roster is still a team that can’t be treated lightly because of their revamped offense led by Jayden Daniels.

Unfortunately, the Eagles lost Jalen Hurts for the remainder of the game after being ruled out due to a concussion.

Kenny Pickett entered the game for Hurts and has struggled passing, though he’s got Saquon Barkley in the backfield to ease the load.

Barkley rumbled down the left sideline for a massive 66-yard touchdown run that had Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James hyped via his personal X account.

“SAQUON!!!!” James tweeted.

Following the Lakers’ win against the Sacramento Kings, James gets a chance to enjoy some NFL Sunday football and is treated to an exciting play from Barkley.

Barkley is nearing closer to breaking the single-season rushing record held by Los Angeles Rams legend Eric Dickerson, and his performance against Washington is a sign that it’s on his mind.

Barkley has a legitimate chance to win MVP because of his impact on the Philadephia offense.

However, he has publicly said he is only concerned with helping the team win a Super Bowl championship.
